In the 1880 census Robert (age 10) was the son of H. C. Snipes in Morganton, Burke, North Carolina, United States.[2]
Robert (age 21) married Laura Poteet (age 18) on 23 March 1897 in Burke, North Carolina, United States.[3][4][5]
In the 1900 census Robert (age 31) was recorded as single in United States.[6] This is odd, since he and Mary had married three years earlier. She is listed as married, but is living with her parents and two small children.[7]
Bob, son of Calvine Snips & C.j. Mull, died (age 47) in 1917 at Home Church, Wilkes, North Carolina, United States.[8]
Robert was buried in 1917 in Morganton, Burke, North Carolina, United States.[9]
