Biography

Jane Smith, born 13 Jan 1730/31 at Groton, Connecticut, was a daughter of Mary Denison & Nathaniel Smith. In birth order she was their fourth child.

She married 23 Feb 1747/48 at Stonington, Connecticut, George Denison. They had 11 children during the ensuing timespan through September 1772.

Jane Smith died 11 May 1829 at Stonington. Her grave is in Dension Burying Ground, Mystic, Connecticut.
