Biography

Lucy Denison, born 9 February 1749/1750 at Stonington, Connecticut, was the first child of Jane Smith & George Denison. She was baptized on 1 July 1750. They lived in the Denison homestead which today operates as the Denison homestead museum.

She married on 22 December 1767 at Stonington, Connecticut, Elisha Williams.

They had ten children born between the years 1768 and 1788. Some time during the 1790's Lucy and her husband Elisha left Connecticut with their children and moved to Albany County, New York, near Knox.

Her husband died in 1825.

Lucy (Denison) Williams died in 1828.
