Carole was born 24 Apr 1949 to Alvin and Alpha (Anderson) Robertson , she was their third child. Carole was the youngest of the three.
The family was proud of Carole's accomplishments in her young life. She was attending Parker High School and was a straight A student.
Carole sang in the Wilkerson Elementary school choir and later she was a member of Parker High School Band.
Carole was also very active in the Girl Scouts.
Carole lived at a very charged time in the Southern US. Carole attended the 16th Street Baptist Church and she was one of four little girls that were killed in the bombing of the church.
Carole was the daughter of Alvin and Alpha (Anderson) Robertson.[1]
On Sunday, September 15,1963 Addie Collins (14), Cynthia Wesley (14), Carole Robertson (14), and Denise McNair(11) died in the bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama.[2]
