Biography
Isabella was born on the 7th March 1865 in Stirling, Stirlingshire, daughter of James Muir Pollock (~1829 - 1899) and Isabella (Meiklejohn) Pollock (1827 - 1900).[1]
1871 Census on the 2nd April 1871 Isabella was living at 44 St Mary Wynd, Stirling, Stirlingshire with her parents James and Isabella, and her siblings John, Agnes, Hugh and James.[2]
1881 Census on the 3rd April 1881 Isabella a domestic servant, was living at 8 Cowane Street, Stirling, Stirlingshire with her parents James and Isabella, and her brother James.[3]
On the 2nd September 1882 Isabella gave birth to an illegitimate daughter, Margaret Pollock (1882 - ), at 41 Baker Street, Stirling, Stirlingshire. In an action relating to the paternity of the child the Sheriff Court of Stirling, Dumbarton and Clackmannon, in Stirling on the 1st March 1883 found that Thomas Donaldson, a clerk, was the father.[4][5]

1891 Census on the 5th April 1891 Isabella was living at 8 Cowane Street, Stirling, Stirlingshire with her parents James and Isabella. Also living there was a Isabella's illegitimate daughter Margaret Pollock aged 8, the father of whom was a Thomas Donaldson, a clerk.[6]
1901 Census on the 31st March 1901 Isabella was living at 3 Bruce Street, Stirling, Stirlingshire with her daughter Margaret.[7]
