Agnes a twin to John, was born on the 14th February 1856 in Stirling, Stirlingshire, Scotland, daughter of James Muir Pollock (~1829 - 1899) and Isabella (Meiklejohn) Pollock (1827 - 1900).[1]

1871 Census on the 2nd April 1871 Agnes a seamstress, was living at 44 St Mary Wynd, Stirling, Stirlingshire with her parents James and Isabella, and her siblings John, Hugh, James and Isabella.[3]
