Communication Preferences:
I am interested in communicating with
cousins and anyone else with an interest in genealogy.
Here is my family tree.
Here are 10 generations of my direct ancestry. My ancestors are mostly from the United States; my father hails from the southeast United States and my mother hails from the northeast, southeast, and midwest United States, as well as Ireland, Scandinavia, and eastern Canada. I am still young, but I have many years experience with genealogy and am improving my skills everyday.
79.3% British (Greater London, Glasgow City, Lancashire, Na h-Eileanan an lar, Greater Manchester, West Midlans, Tyne and Wear, Merseyside, Edinburgh, South Yorkshire) and Irish (County Cork, Mayo, Dublin, Limerick, Donegal, Kerry, Tipperary, Galway, Sligo, Clare)
I am part of the common paternal haplogroup R-M405 from an English line with the surname Mixon that hits a brick wall around 1600. My earliest known patrilineal ancestor is Richard Mixon (c. 1588-).
I descend from the uncommon maternal haplogroup U4b1a2 in an Irish line that hits a brick wall around 1800. My earliest known matrilineal ancestor is Catherine (Unknown) McDonald (c. 1816-.
With my mother's family hailing from Massachusetts, I am possibly descended from 22 Mayflower passengers, listed on the side. My closest relative on the Mayflower is Joseph Rogers, my 10th Great-grandfather and a direct patrilineal ancestor of my mother. I used to believe I was descended from 27 Mayflower passengers through my "2nd great grandfather" Percy Stevens, but his "daughter", my great grandmother Virginia (Stevens) Rogers was DNA proven to not be his daughter. The 5 additional Mayflower ancestors that I am not descended from that I am not genetically descended from but totally am descended from are Myles Standish, Francis Cooke, and Mary Winslow and her parents James Chilton and Unknown (Unknown) Chilton.
Upon my death, I give permission for all my deceased profiles to be set to open and orphaned. Any living profiles should be transferred to Melanie Mixon.

I noticed that you recently created a pre-1700 profile for Jöns Andersson Sparf (abt.1645-1691), but the only source you have provided is a link to a geni online tree. Just a reminder that this isn't an adequate source for a pre-1700 profile - see https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles. Please make sure that you add at least one reliable source to any pre-1700 profile you create. The Sweden Project have put together this page - Sources for Pre-1700 Profiles in Sweden, which is really helpful for clarifying which sources are reliable for these early profiles. If you have any questions about sources for Swedish profiles, you can also ask a question on the G2G.
I have sent you a few private messages in the past several weeks concerning WikiTree matters, but have not heard back yet. Can you please reply to confirm that you have received them? Thanks!
It is not clear why you postponed this merge. 15 Jan 2022
23:22: Bruce Mixon created an unmerged match of Martha (Autry) Galbreath (1753-1852) and Martha B (Autrey) Culbreth (abt.1753-1852). But, please remember as you are the person that set it as unmerged match, you are responsible for correcting whatever you believe needs correction in order to repropose the merge. Unmerged matches are intended to be a temporary state.
