Pvt. Samuel Mixon Sr. served with South Carolina Militia during the American Revolution.

Samuel Mixon Sr. is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A055524.

Samuel Mixon was born in 1750 in Craven County, South Carolina. His parents were John Mixon IV and Mary Joyce.

He served 65 days and provided beef for the South Carolina militia during the American Revolution. [1]

He married Keziah Smith on January 26, 1775 in South Carolina. [2]

Keziah died sometime and he married his second wife Mary Unknown. This was before a February 26, 1808, when Mary joined him in a deed.

After Mary died, he married his third and final wife, Sarah Truett. This was before Sarah was mentioned in Samuel's will dated 1812.
