Biography
Hector was born on 15 March 1851 in Corrolyup, Western Australia.[1][2] He is the son of John McLarty and Mary Pollard.
He married Elizabeth Campbell on 25 March 1875 at Perth.[3][4]
Hector accompanied Forrest on his journey to Adelaide. He joined the Western Australian Police Force on 1 January 1871, to Perth as a Corporal in 1874, to Albany Roadd Stations 1878, Senior Sergeant 1880, to Albany 1881. He resigned on 28 March 1884.[4]

McLARTY. —On November 24, at his residence, 392 Beaufort-street, Perth, Hector Neil, the beloved husband of Elizabeth McLarty, after a long illness, aged 61 years.[5]
