Biography

Mary Elizabeth Home was born in 1795. She was the second daughter of Sir Everard Home and Jane Tunstall.

She married Charles Powlett Rushworth on 28 October 1815 in Saint James Westminster, London.

Marriage Notice

Saint James's Chronicle 31 October 1815, page 4:

Oct. 28, at St. James's Church, C. P. Rushworth, Esq., eldest son of E. Rushworth, Esq. of Farringford Hill, Isle of Wight, to Mary Elizabeth, second daughter of Sir Everard Home, Bart.^[1]

They went on to have at least eight children.

She died on 9 April 1841.

April 9, in Queen Anne-street, Mary Elizabeth, wife of Charles Powlett Rushworth, Esq., and second daughter of the late Sir Everard Home, Bart.^[2]
