Alexandre Folse was born in 1828, to Alexis Folse and Marcelite Hotard, in St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana.
He married Evelie (Eve) Folse, daughter of Joseph Folse and Clementine Gravois.
Children:
- Benjamin Landry Folse b: 02 DEC 1853 in LA
He served in the Louisiana Militia during the Civil War as a private in the 30th Regiment, Louisiana Infantry.
He died in 1886 and is buried at Notre Dame De La Paix,Vacherie,LA.
