I sent you a check-in message a week ago about the Military and War Project to ask you about your continued involvement but have not yet heard back from you. Do you still want to be in the project? If I don’t hear from you by the same time next week I’ll assume that you’ve moved on to other things but you’re most welcome to re-join the project at any time.
Best wishes,
Mary~ Project Coordinator, Military and War Project
Yes, I am still active in the Military and War Project. I primarily work with Civil War Union profiles and have done a bit with Civil War Nurses.
Cheers,
Kelley
Mary
Many thanks,

We're sad to inform you that the Black Sheep Project is being dissolved. All BSP's subprojects will be moved in pieces under the Notables Project as categories and perhaps as Teams, depending on interest. Witch Trials will become a subproject of Notables.
Your BSP project member badge will soon be removed. If you'd like to join the Notables project, please let one of us know and we'll get you a Notables badge.
Please email either of us if you have any questions and if you'd like to join the Notables project.
Thanks, Susan McNamee & Traci Thiessen ~co-leaders, Black Sheep Project
There appears to only be one person on his trusted list. Is there any other way to complete the pending merge if the manager Barbara Slater Nelson does not respond to the merge request?
On behalf of the Connectors Project Leaders, we are doing a six-month check-in with members. Please let us know if you are still active. If you are active, please let us know in which ways you are currently contributing to the project.
All of us at WikiTree would like to thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your roots.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, many responses went unanswered and unrecorded.
We truly regret any inconvenience.
I do not know what your previous response was, but will leave you in the project unless you inform me otherwise.

It has been a few weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Black Sheep Project and as we haven't heard from you, we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member.
We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. If this is the case for you, please let us know.
If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.
Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.

Re: John Strain. I have a lot of questions about him. but 1st of all i think there is a John Strain b 1806-1849 and his dad John strain 1763-1847. We have different death locations on ours. I have no direct info on them other than what pops up here and on Ancestry.com. One of them is a Jr and im not sure which of them is the jr 100%. SO I'm not 100% sure who 's info to use here. But thru this family, i get a lot of hits/links to famous people. DO you have concrete info on these guys?
Thank you so much for responding to our check-in. We are delighted that you wish to continue contributing to the Military and War Project. Below is a quick checklist for active members. The project leaders would like you to make sure you have done the following:
1) Checked the Project Page for ways to contribute.
2) Added MILITARY_AND_WAR to the tags you follow.
3) PMed the Project Coordinator with your email address to be added to the Google Group.
4) Bookmarked the Activity Feed to monitor the project watchlist.
Thank you!
