Sarah Curtiss was born on May 3, 1757 in Huntington, Fairfield, Connecticut, daughter of Elnathan Curtiss (1727–1812) and Sarah Ufford (~1728–1814).^[1]

Sarah (24) married Agur Tomlinson (24) (born on December 6, 1756 in Huntington; son of Beach Tomlinson and Charity (Shelton) Tomlinson) on May 20, 1781. ^[2]Their children were:
