"Sarah Ufford was a great granddaughter of Thomas Ufford who came with his wife Isabel and three children to Boston in the ship "Lyon" in 1632 with William Curtiss. Thomas Ufford d. in Stratford, Conn., in 1660."
"Elnathan Curtiss, son of Ephraim and Elizabeth (Stiles) Curtiss, m. Sarah, dau. of Thomas and Phoebe (Judson) Ufford of Stratford, Conn., June 7, 1745. She was born Stratford, Conn, Feb. 15, 1728; d. Huntington, Conn., May 19, 1814."
