Betsey Tomlinson was born in 1783, daughter of Agur Tomlinson (1756–1843) and Sarah Curtiss (1757–1790).^[1]

Betsey (17) married Daniel Gunn (23) (born on March 26, 1777 in Waterbury, New Haven, CT; son of Enos Gunn and Abigail (Candee) Gunn) in 1801 in New York. Their children were:

• Lorinda (1803-1892)
• Enos (1816-1884)
• Charles S. (1818-1858)
