"Edward J. Cordle Dies In Hospital. Edward J. Cardle, 79, died at 6 p.m. yesterday in Riverside hospital after a short illness. He had lived here two years with a daughter, Mrs. P. A. Jaffeux, 445 F St. Copeland Park. Surviving are six sons, J. H., S. D., E.A., W. T., J. V. and J. M. Cordle; three daughters, Mrs. Catherine Hague of Richmond, Mrs. Mary Davis of Charlottesville, and Mrs. Jeffeaux; 12 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren; one brother, F. L. Cordle of Richmond and one sister, Mrs. D. B. Williams of Richmond.
