Biography

Anne Charlton was the daughter of Richard Charlton and Elizabeth Mainwaring.[1] Her date and place of birth are unknown. Her husband was born about 1482, so her birth is estimated to be about the same time.

Anne married about 1500 to Randall Grosvenor, Esq., of Bellaport, Shropshire, son of Randall Grosvenor, Esq., and his wife Margaret Mainwaring.[1] They had five sons and three daughters:

Anne's date and place of death is not known. Her husband, Randall Grosvenor, left a will dated 23 February 1558/9 and proved 3 May 1560.[1]
