Anne Calthorpe died before 1531. She was buried at St. Mary's, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England. Sir Robert and Anne's tomb at St. Mary's is described as such:
"The corresponding tomb on the south side has the recumbent effigies of Sir Robert Drury, Kt., who died in 1535-36, and his first wife Anne, daughter of Sir Wm. Calthorpe. The Knight [Sir Robert] is in a complete suit of plate armour with the lamboys or drapery over the thighs. His gauntlets are under his legs, and at his feet is a now headless greyhound. The lady [Anne] is habited in the same style as Lady Carew; but the dress is more ornamented. Around her neck is a massive chain with cross suspended, and around her loins a girdle, from which hangs an aulmonier or purse. At her feet are two dogs at play. The shields, which appear to have been of brass, are entirely gone from the panels. The bases of the pillars which supported the canopy have the emblems of the four Evangelists, carved in the panels ... about the iron grate of the tombs is thus written (no armes upon the scutcheons left, but all worn of)
"Such as you ar sometimes were wee,
such as we ar such shall ye bee."
Other coats to be seen on this tomb were the arms of Drury impaling Calthorpe, Drury quarterly, 1 and 4. Drury, 2. Fresel, Sable, six einquefoils Argent. 3. Saxham, Argent, six croslets fitchee Gules, a chief intented Azure."[5]
