My father, John Robert Bray 1923-1959, served BOTH World War 2 AND Korean War. According to first hand information I received from a visit with John's youngest sister, Juanita Josephine Bray (aka Jo), John was recalled by the Federal Armed Services into full time service (Navy, again). He was not wanting to but had no choice. Jo and her husband, Van (who was very close to John) both believed his recall into war affected John severely mentally and physically. They said he drank heavily, was never his "old self" after coming back and led to his divorce from his first wife. - Brad
