Biography
Aura Amanda Barton was born on August 21, 1849, in Pickens, South Carolina, United States, daughter of Peter Looney Barton (1808–1893) and Nancy Terrell (1813–1884). [1] [2] The family moved to Bosque County, Texas shortly after the Civil War. [3]
She married Alford Chandler Odle (1844–1929) on 01 November 1870 in Bosque, Texas. [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9]
Aura died on November 14, 1939, in Valley Mills, Bosque, Texas, United States, aged 90. [10] She is buried in Poston-Odle Cemetery, Mosheim, Texas. [11]
