Biography
Hepsibah Jane Barton was born on September 8, 1842, in Pickens, South Carolina, United States, daughter of Peter Looney Barton (1808–1893) and Nancy Terrell (1813–1884). [1] The family moved to Bosque County, Texas shortly after the Civil War. [2]
Hepsey died about 1873 in Bosque, Texas, United States, aged about 30. There are no sources indicating date or location of Hepsey's death.
