Biography

Mary Barlow was born about 1652-1653 based on her reported age at death,^[1] the daughter of Edmund and Mary (Pemberton) Barlow,^[2] probably in Charlestown, Middlesex, (then) Massachusetts Bay Colony where her parents resided.

She married John Chadwick on 30 October 1674 in Cambridge, Middlesex County.^[3]

Mary (Barlow) Chadwick was named in her father's and brother Edmund's estates in 1697 and 1695 as Mary Chadwick, and as mother of Edmund Chadwick. (See father's profile for more detail.) ^[2][4]

Mary Chadwick died on 18 June 1724,^[1] and was buried in the Ancient Burying Ground in Bradford, Essex County, Massachusetts, where her gravestone still stands:^[5]
