Anyone in Australia interested in improving/connecting the profile of Dr Vera Scantlebury Brown?

While pursuing my mini-project of adding profiles of WW1 Australian Munitions Workers & War Workers, I created a profile for the wife of one of them who was notable. I've now orphaned it. (moving on to the next Munitions Worker...)

Dr. Vera Scantlebury was a surgeon & doctor who was prominent in Victoria - she was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 1938.

Anyone want to adopt the profile/improve the profile/add parents & sibling profiles? (A statue of her was unveiled last year so topical in Victoria).

Hi Mark,

My ancestor is Susanna Langmaid Scantlebury, married James Harris Braddon in Polruan, Cornwall in 1876.

Her father was Richard, a Mariner.

I have just dabbled on Wikitree and won't be free of another major project until Mid 2024, so can't offer any more on her ancestors until then, to see if we are connected.

Thought I'd check in as Scantlebury, of course, jumped at me here! Wow, she was amazing.

Wish you energy - and luck - in your search.
