I. Fredrick "Fred" Williams was born about 1859[1][2][3] in Vermont[1][2][3]. He was the child[1][2][3] of Adaline and Civil War veteran Isaac Williams of the famous 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry.
In 1870, he was attending school, probably in or near Windsor, Vermont.[2]
He passed away in 1932 and is buried at Grove Street Cemetery in New Haven, Connecticut.[4]
His father, brother Kendrick, sister-in-law Bessie, and nephew Frederick are also buried in Grove Street Cemetery.
Raymoure-1 20:50, 4 January 2020 (UTC): Fred was born before the war and his father married Mary after the war, so he's either their child born out of wedlock or the child of another woman. However, Mary consistently gives her birth year as 1850, so she's probably his stepmother. More research needed!
