Biography
William Edward WILLIAMS was born on 21 December 1887 in Tootgarook, Colony of Victoria[1]. He is the son of Edward Williams and Sarah Lowther.
Ida Jane WATTS and William Edward WILLIAMS were married in 1910 in Victoria, Australia[2].

15 March 1942, William enlisted in the Australian Army - Volunteer Defence Corps (VDC); Service Number: V379175 for part time service. He was assigned to 6th Battalion VDC, attained the rank of Private and was discharged on 9 October 1945[3][4].
He passed away on 12 January 1958 in Sorrento, Victoria, Australia[5]
