Zachariah appears in the 1830 census in Jasper County, Georgia, Regiment 38 and 30. Sixteen people are in his household: 1 male, aged 5-9; 1 female, aged 10-14; 1 female, aged 15-19; 3 females, aged 20-29; 1 female, aged 50-59 (thought to be Ursula) and 1 female , aged 70-79 (perhaps wife's mother, since his mother died in 1810.) His daughter, Martha Rollins Williams is not in this census, by 1840 she had married John Stewart Irby (in 1817.) There are 7 enslaved individuals on this census. [4]

Zachariah died on 14 May 1848 and is buried in Williams Family Cemetery, in Jasper County, GA. [5]
Note: This cemetery has several young women buried that may have been his daughters. More research is needed.
Zachariah was born in 1771. He was the son of Luke Williams and Katherine Barber. He passed away in 1849.
