William Williams was in New London in 1664, and is by Miss Caulkins placed on the E. or Groton side of the riv. and she adds that he d. 1704, leaving children Richard, William, Henry, and Stephen, and Mary, wife of Samuel Packer.[1]
History of Stonington by Wheeler says he was b. in Wales, came to this country in 1662 and settled in the Ledyard part of New London in 1663. He served in King Philip's War and he married Arabella Thompson, and had the same children listed by Savage[2]
