Biography

William was born in 1668. He died in 1741. ^[1]

This William Williams was a son of Arabella (Thompson) Williams (1635-1708) and William Williams (abt.1625-abt.1701). His birth family resided in the portion of New London County, Connecticut, that was later apportioned into the town of Ledyard.

'Confusing Lineage:' This person was incorrectly attached in the Wheeler History of Stonington to spouse Margaret Cooke ^[2] His spouse was Margaret Morgan. Apparently the Wheeler publication erroneously reversed the sequence of his mother and his wife.
