Biography

Nettie Williams was born on 19 Oct 1881 in Foster Township, Marion County, Illinois, United States, daughter of Christopher Columbus Williams (1856–1919) and Mary Ann Taylor (1865–1944). Nettie died on 7 Jul 1964, in Vandalia, Fayette County, Illinois, United States, aged 82.

Nettie was a native of Marion County, Illinois. Nettie became a Christian at the age of 15 and joined Primitive Baptist Church. She later joined the Methodist Church, Kinmundy.

Due to the death of her biological mother at the age of 4, Nettie & Walter adopted Eva Maxine (Williams) George (1915-2011) in 1920.^[1]
