Biography

David was born in 1860.^[1] He was the son of David Williams and Ann Thomas.

In 1861 and 1871 he lived with his parents in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales^[2][3] and in 1881 with his father in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales as an engine fitter.^[4]

In 1886 he married Mary Ann Hughes.^[5]

In 1891 he lived with his wife in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales as a steam engine fitter^[6] and in 1901 and 1911 he lived with his wife in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales as an engine turner in an iron foundry.^[7][8] In 1939 he was a widower living in Hafod, Glamorgan, Wales as a retired fitter.^[9]

He passed away in 1940.^[10][11]

His probate reads, Williams David Edward of 22 Morgan Street Hafod Swansea died 5 July 1940. Administration Carmathen 27 July to Idris Gwynne Williams accounts clerk. Effects £469 12s 11d.^[12]
