In 1851, 1861 and 1871 he lived with his wife in Swansea St John, Glamorgan, Wales as a blacksmith.[2][3][4]
The marriage certificate of his daughter, Mary Williams in 1879 records that he was the innkeeper of the Copperman's Arms in Swansea St John, Glamorgan, Wales.[5]
In 1879 he married Ann James. The certificate states he was a widower and licensed victualler in Neath Road, Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales. He father is recorded as Joseph Williams, colliery foreman.[6][7]
In 1881 was a widower living in Neath Road, Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales as a licensed victualler[8] and in 1901 he was living with his daughter, Selina Williams, in Great Crosby, Lancashire, England as a retired blacksmith.[9]
He passed away in 1902[10] and was buried on 25th March 1902 at Llangyfelach, Glamorganshire, Wales.[11]
His probate reads, Williams David Edward of 22 Morgan Street Hafod Swansea died 20 March 1902 at 61 Liverpool Road Great Crosby Lancashire. Probate Carmarthen to Richard Thomas Williams blacksmith. Effects £490 7s.[12]
