Robert Waller was born in India
Robert William Waller was born on 26 October 1835 and was baptised on 10 January 1836 at Belgaum, Bombay, India[1]. He was the son of Robert Waller and Mary Anne Blowers.
He was assistant secretary to Government, P.W.D. (Railway Department).
He married Emily Page (the daughter of John Page) on 3 April 1866 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India[2].
They had the following children:
- Florence Minnie Waller (b. 11 Mar 1867, m. 29 Feb 1896 Frank McCulloch, d. 1955)
- Herbert Montagu Waller (b. 18 Aug 1868, d. 17 Oct 1944)
- Jocelyn Edmund Waller (b. 3 Jun 1870, d. 28 Jul 1937)
- Frank Hastings Waller (b. 16 Oct 1871, d. Aug 1953)
- Emily Mary Waller (b. abt. 1875, d. 17 Sep 1951)
- Charles Robert Waller (b. 10 May 1877, d. 19 May 1933)
- Amy Beatrice Waller (b. abt. 1879, d. 1960)
His wife Emily probably died on 1 September 1895.
Robert William Waller died on 25 March 1897.
