Jocelyn Waller was born in India

Jocelyn Waller was born on 30 July 1838 and was baptised on 26 December 1838 at Bombay, India[1]. He was the son of Robert Waller and Mary Anne Blowers.

He was with the Indian Postal Service.

He married Elizabeth Power (the daughter of Martin Power) in December 1861 in Byculla, Bombay, India

They had the following Children:

  1. Martin Robert Jocelyn Waller (b. 24 Aug 1862[2], d. 17 Mar 1936)
  2. Jocelyn Waller (b. 5 Mar 1864, bapt. 20 Mar 1864[3], d. abt. 16 Apr 1865[4])
  3. Edmund Edward Waller (b. 10 Aug 1865, bapt. 27 Dec 1865[5]. d. 1900)
  4. William Dillon Waller (b. 10 Aug 1868, bapt. 4 Oct 1868[6])
  5. Alfred Jocelyn Waller (b. 14 Feb 1870, bapt. 30 Mar 1870[7], d. 1950)
  6. Alice Emma Waller (b. 27 Sep 1874, bapt. 24 Nov 1874[8])
  7. Thomas Hutton Waller (b. 7 Aug 1878, bapt. 18 Sep 1878[9])
  8. Eva Jane Waller (b. 16 Feb 1880, bapt. 10 Apr 1880[10])
  9. Henry Bernard Waller (b. 22 Dec 1881, bapt. 8 Feb 1882[11], d. 1971)
  10. May Maud Waller (b. 28 Mar 1883, bapt. 31 May 1883[12])

Jocelyn Waller died in 1918 and was buried at Mountain View Cemetery, Longmont, Boulder County, Colorado, United States[13].
