Mary (Waller) Hewett is one of twins.

Mary (Waller) Hewett was born in India

Mary Anne Waller and her twin sister Eliza Sarah Waller were born on 23 May 1842 and were baptised on 4 December 1842 at Bombay Presidency, India^[1]. Their father Robert Waller was aged 36 and their mother, Mary Anne Blowers, was aged 26.

She married Thomas Douglas Hewett (the son of Peter Selwood Hewett) on 2 July 1856 at Aden, Bombay Presidency, India^[2].

They had four children during their marriage:

1. Robert Douglas Hewett (b. 25 Dec 1857, bapt. 2 Mar 1858^[3], d. 11 Dec 1908)
2. Florence Amelia Hewett (b. 6 Aug 1859, d. 30 Apr 1879)
3. Arthur Bewsher Hewett (b. 19 Dec 1861, bapt. 7 May 1862^[4])
4. Alice Mary Hewett (b. 23 Feb 1863)

Sadly she died on 15 November 1864 at the age of 22, and was buried on 16 November 1864 at Colaba, Bombay, India^[5].
