Found in The State 10 August 1904: Mrs. D. Brooks Miller, youngest daughter of the late Mr. Fred Schmidt, died at the Columbia hospital at 2:50 o'clock this morning. Mrs. Miller had been married but 15 months and is survived by her husband and a three weeks' old infant. Only four years ago a sister of the deceased, Mrs. Mamie A. Stebbins, died after a brief illness.
