Francesco Paolo Puccio, son of Nicolo' Puccio and Calogera Colletti, who marry in 1847.[1] I have estimated that Francesco Paolo is twenty years old when he marries Concetta (b. 1867), for a birth year of 1863.
Francesco Paolo marries Concetta Castro on 24 September 1883. His father has died by this time.[2]
Francesco Paolo and Concetta have at least two children, Giovanni (1895) and Calogera (1897).
Bernardino Verro, a labor organizer native to Corleone, forms a republican-socialist circle on 7 Feb 1892 with Calogero Milone, Biagio Gennaro, Francesco Puccio, Liborio Termini, Angelo Provenzano, and Francesco Streva, called La Nuova Eta’.[3] The circle is made up of men with close Mafia connections: Milone and Streva each have at least one mafioso brother. Puccio is the compare of Mariano Colletto, a capo in the local Mafia.
Giovanni is born 13 January 1895 and baptized the next day. His godfather is the unmarried Mariano Colletto.[4]
Calogera is born 22 March 1897 and baptized eight days later. Her godparents are Luciano Crapisi and Liboria di Palermo, a married couple.[5]
Francesco (or Frank), a cafe keeper, dies at the age of 64 in the Bronx in April 1926. His wife Concetta survives him. He is buried at Calvary Cemetery.[6]
