Nathaniel Need was born in Nottinghamshire, England.
Nathaniel Need, yeoman, of Arnold, Nottinghamshire was the son of Humphrey Need and his wife Dorothy _______.[1][2] He was baptized 8 July 1622 in Arnold[1] at St Mary's church.[3]
Nathaniel married Anne ______.[1] They had three sons and five daughters:
Joseph, baptized 14 February 1648/9, died 15 June 1741, immigrated to Pennsylvania, married Rebecca ______ and had issue[1]
Nathaniel was overseer, constable and churchwarden of Arnold.[1] Later the family became Quakers.
Nathaniel was buried 7 April 1701 at Arnold, Nottinghamshire[1] at St Mary's Church.[6] He left a will dated 29 March 1701, proved 16 May 1701.[1] His wife survived him and was buried 17 April 1713.[1]

They were brothers, not the same person. Nathaniel Need-50 was baptised in 1617. His brother Nathaniel Need-4 was baptised in 1622. Need-50 presumably died before Need-4 was born.
