Biography

Druzilla Morgan.^[1][2][3] was born on 7 May 1795 in Monongalia County, Virginia,<^[4] the second of thirteen children and the second of seven daughters of Capt. James and Dorothy Prickett Morgan.

Alternate date f birth: 23 May 1795.^[5]

On 17 September 1818, she married James Price, son of Richard and Nancy Dallas Price, in , Monongalia County, Virginia..^[6] She would bear him at least eight children:

1. Mary "Polly" Price.
2. Nimrod Price.
3. Richard Price.
4. Susan Jane Price.
5. Matilda Ann Price.
6. James Dallas Price.
7. Margaret Amanda Price.
8. Oliver Price.

At some point they moved to Vermilion County, Illinois, and after James's death c1850, she moved to Albany in Linn County, Oregon, where she died on 10 Jul 1870 at the age of seventy-five.^[7]

She is said to be buried in the Oregon Masonic Cemetery in Albany, but Findagrave.com does not have her in that cemetery and reports her place of burial as "unknown." (See below.)^[8][9]

She was the wife of James Price. She was the mother of: Mary Price Payne Nimrod Price Richard Price Susan Jane Price Matilda Anne Price Churchill James Dallas Price Margaret Amanda Price Rideout Oliver Price.
