Calvin Jones Meador was born on August 9th, 1858[1] in Mississippi to parents Lewis Meador and Rachel Stroud. On September 17th, 1880 in Union Mississippi, he was married to Margaret "Mollie" P. Hunkapillar. Together they had eight children (as reported on the 1910 Census), six of which survived to adulthood.[2]
Sometime in the 1910s, the family moved to Tennessee and lived for many years in Memphis. Calvin Jones Meador passed away on April 30th, 1945 in Oakville, Shelby, Tennessee. On his death certificate, he is listed as a retired farmer.
