Margaret (Hunkapiller) Meador was born in Alabama.

Margaret Hunkapiller was born on October 8, 1865 in Alabama. Margaret's parents are unknown, but she is connected in some way with the James Franklin Hunkapiller family; in 1880, she was living with his daughter Sarah Manerva (Hunkapiller) Carlile and her husband; she was listed as a "niece." Later that same year on September 17, 1880, she married Calvin Meador. Together they had eight[1] children, including:

She died on November 2, 1938 in Memphis, Shelby, Tennessee.
