Biography
Giuseppe Marino is born on 31 October 1854 in Corleone, the son of Calogero Marino and Caterina Cusimano, and is baptized the next day. His godparents are Pietro Marino and Tommasa Cusimano, who are both unmarried.[1][2]
Giuseppe marries Giuseppa Governali, daughter of Maria Governali and an unknown father, on 8 November 1880. Giuseppe's father has died by this time.[3]
Giuseppe and Giuseppa have four children: Calogero, Giuseppe, Giovanna (1888), and Caterina (1890).[2]
Calogero marries Calogera di Carlo, daughter of Francesco.[2]
Giuseppe marries and has at least two children.[2]
Caterina "Tinnicheda" is born 29 Oct 1890.[2]
Tinnicheda marries Salvatore "Toto" Castro. He immigrates 24 June 1897. He died around May 1948 in Bronx. She died December 1987 in Manhattan. Giuseppe dies 9 May 1896 in Corleone.[2]
Giuseppe's widow, Giuseppa, born c. 1853, dies 9 Feb 1899 in Corleone.[2]
Giovanna marries her first cousin once removed (p 322), Giovanni di Carlo on 6 October 1920 in Corleone. She dies three years later. [2]
