Biography

Francesco Mancuso is born 7 July 1861 in Corleone and baptized the next day. He is the son of Rocco Mancuso and Lucia Traina. His godparents are Giovanni Cilano and Filippa Cardella, a married couple.^[1]

Francesco marries Domenica Salemi on 29 September 1883.^[2]

Francesco and Domenica have at least three children: Rocco (c. 1885), Stefano (c. 1890), and Lucia (1891).

I estimate Rocco is born a couple of years after his parents marry. He is named after his paternal grandfather.

Stefano is born around 1890, based on his reported age at marriage. He is named after his maternal grandfather.
