Stefano Mancuso is born around 1890 in Corleone, the son of Francesco Mancuso and Domenica Salemi. He is named after his maternal grandfather.
Stefano is 26 (b. 1890) when he marries Bernarda Salemi, daughter of Ciro Salemi and Maria Ligotino, age 22 (b. 1894), on 26 December 1916 in Manhattan.[1] Stefano and Bernarda are first cousins.
