Biography
Anna Maria Ligotino is born and baptized on 4 January 1842. She is the oldest known child of Vincenzo Ligotino and Carmela Castro, named after her paternal grandmother,as is traditional for the first born daughter. Her godparents are Salvatore Ligotino and her maternal aunt Francesca Castro, a married couple.
The previous year, Anna Maria's parents stand as godparents to Maria, daughter of Salvatore and Francesca, Anna Maria's godparents as well as her uncle and aunt.
Anna Maria marries Vincenzo Guarino on 7 November 1864.
Anna Maria and Vincenzo have at least five children together: Leoluca (1865), Vincenzo (1867), Maria Antonina (1870), Filippo (1872), and Carmela (1874).
