Biography

Effie was born in 1871. Her parents were George W Liddick and Frances Anderson.

In 1880 she was 8 and living with her parents and three siblings in Iowa. ^[1]

In 1885 she was 14 and living with her parents and five siblings in Iowa. ^[2]

She married James C King in 1887. ^[3][4] In the Patterson Family Bible it is written "James C King was married to Effie Liddick January 6th in the year of our Lord 1887". ^[5]

Their daughter Edna Mae was born in 1892. ^[6]

In 1900 Effie and James are living in Iowa with four children: Clarence, Ednie, John and Walter. ^[7]

Their son Leonard was born in 1904. ^[8]

In 1920 Effie and her husband were living in the household of their son George and his wife Freda. Three of their other children (Walter, Lilian and Leonard) are living with them.

Pension records that include her parent's names. ^[9]

She passed in 1957.
