Biography
Maria was born in on 30 January 1831. She is the daughter of George Kring and Magdalene Stump. She was christened on 29 May 1831 in Stoystown, Somerset, Pennsylvania in the German Reformed Church.[1](The father's name is shown as George; the mother's as Catherine; however, other children born later are also Magdalena Stump's)
It is further evidenced that she is their child as: To the petition of John Kring, eldest son of George Kring late of Jenner Township,Somerset County..respectfully represents: That he said George Kring (Jr.) lately died leaving issue thirteen children to viz; 13. Mary Margaret Kring, deceased, intermarried with Hiram Millhouse, leaving issue two children to viz: Elnora and Sarah Millhouse[2]
Mary died on 9 Febrary 1860 at Jackson, Illinois. She is buried at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Murphysboro, Jackson, Illinois, United States.[3]
