Mary was born in 1823. She was the daughter of George Kring and Magdalene Stump. She passed away in 1872. ^[1]

HER NAME: Her given name in various records appears as Mary, Martha, Magdalena, Madaline, and Susannah. In the 1850 U.S. Census she is listed as Martha.^[2] In 1860 U.S. Census she is listed as Mary.^[3]In her probate records she is listed as Magdalena.^[4] In son David's death records in 1906 the mother is listed as Martha.^[5] In daughter Sophia's death records in 1921 she is listed as Susanna Krug.^[6] In daughter Mary's death in 1938 the mother is listed as Madaline Kring.^[7]
