Biography
Fredrick was born about 1822, records throughout his life list several different birthplaces the most common are Ireland and Scotland, his residence in St. Lawrence, NY is also occasionally listen.
He married Nancy Crawford on 31 December 1845 in what was at the time Canada West, British Colonial America (Modern day Ontario [1].
In 1860, he and Nancy (35) were living in Lousiville, St. Lawrence, New York with children James A (12), Robert (10), Jane (8), John (7), Sarah (4), and Mary (1) based on the place of birth of the children, it appears they entered the U.S. sometime between 1858 and 1860[2].
On 21 Nov 1868 his daughter Jane married Royal Tyler Phillips in Wisconsin[3]. In 1869-1870 his daughter Sarah married Lot Leach in Wisconsin, at this point it is safe to say the family had moved to Wisconsin[4]
In 1870 Frederick was living in Oconto, Wisconsin with Nancy (45), John (18), and Mary (13), and three new children Jesse (11), Julia (8), and Unice (4)[5]
In 1872, his son Robert married Annie Johnson in Wisconsin[6].
On 15 May 1874 his daughter Mary married Harley W. Race in Wisconsin [7]
In 1880, Frederick was living in Peshtigo, Wisconsin with Nancy (58) and Unice (18)[8]
On 3 January 1881 his daughter Julia married Francis Lamson [9].
On 18 June 1891 his daughter Louisa married Thomas Warrick in Marinette, Wisconsin[10]. It is unclear when Louisa was born or why she was not a member of their household in 1880.
In 1899 his wife Nancy died [11].
He passed away in December of 1904, and was buried on 28 December 1904 in Grover, Marinette, Wisconsin [12].
