Biography

Ada was born in 1854. She was the daughter of Adam King and Isabella Brodie. [1]

She was baptised in the Presbyterian Church at Forglen, Banff, Scotland on 16 Nov 1854.

She emigrated to Australia with her mother and siblings in 1858 on the "Merchant Prince".[2]

She married William McMeikan in 1874.[3][4]

She passed away before 1899. [5]
