Biography

Adam was born in 1807.^[1]

In 1832 he married Isabella Brodie at Banff.^[2]

In 1851 the family was living at 24 Bridge Street, Banff, Banffshire.^[3]

Adam and the older children, James, Isabella, Alexander and John, emigrated to Australia on the "Parisian" in 1854 as unassisted passengers.^[4][5]

His wife and younger children arrived on the "Merchant Prince" in 1858

The only child to remain in Scotland was Margaret.

He passed away in 1878.^[6][7][8][9]
